Do you backup your data on a regular basis? If not, make it one of your New Year’s Resolutions to ensure that you do! Here’s a list of four other things to think about to make sure your business does not suffer if there was a problem.
- Eliminate risk – look at what could go wrong with your IT systems and then identify the steps you would need to take to get your business back up and running.
- Cut down on unnecessary costs – a lot of companies can benefit from putting their emails and backups in the cloud. If this is something you are interested in learning more about, give us a call or email your Account Manager.
- Detox your emails and web browser – ensure you have a business-grade firewall with internet content filtering, website blocking and email attachment scanning. This delivers an essential layer of protection from scammers and other malicious content.
- Devise a business continuity plan – if for some reason you can not access your office or if you suffer from a power cut, do you have a plan in place to continue running your business as normal during that time? Allowing your employees to access emails and files from home or from mobile devices is something you could consider and we can help if you decide to go ahead with this.
