The Metropolitan Police have released “The Little Leaflet of Cyber Mistakes” which details the most common cyber mistakes. These include a weak password and no antivirus software.

Last month, a firm in Glasgow brought action against a former employee who fell for an email scam. The member of staff received several emails which appeared to be from their boss, but they were in fact from an imposter. You can read more about the story here >

More businesses are now using Office 365, Microsoft’s hosted email platform. As a result, there has been an increase in Office 365 accounts being compromised. NCSC have created a helpful blog post covering how to secure Office 365 with better configuration here >
