Happy New Year! We hope everyone had
a great festive break. We’ve definitely hit
the ground running on our return to the
office in 2018 with lots of new projects
If you would like to review your IT or if you
have any projects coming up yourself which
we could help with, please get in touch on
01706 239000 option 2.
This time last year we decided that instead of
each bringing cakes into the office for our
birthdays, we would instead donate money to a
charity pot which we would count at the end of
the year and donate to a worthwhile cause.
We managed to raise £150 through “cake donations”
which NCS has matched, so we will be donating
£150 each to two local charities close to our hearts
instead of one.
We will reveal the recipients soon so keep your eyes
We’ve been reviewing the most popular advice
articles on our website last year. The most popular
item was “Top Tips for Controlling your Server Room
Temperature” – probably not something you need to
worry about today…
This was followed by our top tips to improve your
password security to celebrate World Password Day on
4th May. Our third most-popular advice item was an
overview of GDPR which comes into effect later this year.
If there are any topics you would like us to cover in future
articles, please drop me an email >
