Greater Manchester Public Wi-Fi Goes Live!

Wi-fiGreater Manchester has started its free Wi-Fi service which will be in all Metrolink trams and over 200 public buildings under a GBP 7.25 million programme run by Transport for Greater Manchester and the city councils of Manchester and Salford, with funding from the Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) scheme. Areas covered will include park buildings, museums, community centres, sports centres, libraries, etc.
